The South-West Rail and Heritage Centre is the re-incarnation of the Boyanup Museum through the Co-operation of Rail Heritage WA, Capel Men's Shed, Preston River Old Machinery Group, and Shire of Capel.

Such has been my fortune for the past nearly 6 years with the South West Rail and Heritage Centre. The latest example of this occurred on September 21st when I rocked (more of a stagger to be honest) up the site to begin the preparations for the Sunday Open Day.
Phone: 0459 712 552 For nearly 100 years, Boyanup was an important railway junction on the West Australian Government railways system The line from Bunbury split to serve the agricultural areas as far south as Northcliffe and the coastal areas as far as Flinders Bay (Augusta).
